Join acclaimed Northern Ireland pianist Cahal Masterson for an enchanting solo recital on Tuesday, 29th October 2024, at the historic St. Macartin's Cathedral in Enniskillen. This captivating evening will feature the delicate piano works of Clara Schumann, seamlessly intertwined with some of the most tender compositions by her husband, Robert Schumann. The programme also includes Belfast-born composer Stephen Gardner's contemporary masterpiece, The Brahmdel Variations, offering a modern counterpoint to Brahms' cherished Variations and Fugue on a Theme by Handel. Masterson, celebrated for his exceptional technique and emotive performances, brings a deep connection to this repertoire.

Ulster Orchestra Brass Quintet at St. Macartin's Cathedral

Featuring members of Northern Ireland's only professional symphony orchestra, this concert promises to deliver a rousing evening of brass music to audiences in Fermanagh. Drawing on decades of collective experience, the quintet's performance will resonate with Fermanagh’s rich brass band heritage.

The concert, presented by Music in Fermanagh, will be held at the historic Saint Macartin's Cathedral at 7:30 pm, where the venue's acoustics will perfectly complement the evening's programme!

The evening is being presented by Music in Fermanagh, a registered charity, with the ongoing support of Fermanagh/Omagh District Council. Tickets are priced at £20, with a special rate of £5 for attendees under 25.
